Exit (Vacate) Condition Report
Need an Exit report complete and not sure where to start? Call us now to discuss how we can help you through this process or better yet conduct it on your behalf.
The Exit report is another important part of the bond refund process. This report is compared to your Entry condition report from the start of your tenancy to determine if the property is in the same condition as when you moved in, apart from fair wear and tear.
Ideally it is advised to complete this report with your property manager and inspect the property together, but it can be completed seperately.
What to do:
- Thoroughly clean the property (RTA handy tips)
- Complete the Exit condition report
- Vacate the property
- property manager/owner sends their completed copy of the report to you the tenant at your new address or via email within 3 business days
- once the property has been vacated, you may request a bond refund (as long as no money is owed to the property manager/owner for rent, damages or other costs)
Contact us to complete the exit report on your behalf, go through with your agent or assist you in filling it out. When life gets to busy we are here to help you in the best way we can.
